What would you do if you built a highly successful business for six years through hard work and long hours just to watch it crumbled within a matter of weeks? That’s what happened to Trang Nguyen when COVID-19 came around and lockdown measures were put into place. Trang faced the harsh reality that she had to cut her losses and shut down her business which solely relied on trade shows and events.

Although the situation seemed devastated at the time, Trang bounced back from one of the lowest points in her life. We interviewed Trang to get her inspirational story of how she got back on her feet and achieved massive success in an entire new industry that many aspire to develop themselves in - the online marketing space. Trang was always an entrepreneur at heart, even right out of high school. She grew up in Vietnam and migrated to America when she was 12 years old with her family. She started out by selling Cutco knives then Vivint smart home systems while she was in college for 4 years. But despite having a lot of business experience, the challenges of the pandemic was quite devastating for her and she found herself driving for Doordash and Grubhub to barely make ends meet. While delivering food, Trang determined to continue learning by listening to podcasts and Youtube videos and came to the realization: the online world was where she will start her comeback.
