Someone once shared with me an amazing quote;


"This is your reminder to be patient. Do not give up hope. Your situation is changing. You are doing your best and your efforts will not go to waste. You have the strength to go on."

         I got an amazing opportunity to speak with a positive and a family oriented individual that goes by the name of Omar Rattray, and here are his words in writing after the interview.

Omar was born in the city of Kingston Jamaica where he spend a short period of time growing up in the city of Kingston, he then moved with his mother; being a single parent life was hard for him and his mother growing up but his mother taught him how to hold his head up high and one day this too shall pass. He settled with his mother in the western part of Jamaica where he did his schooling and got a scholarship to attend one of the Ideal and prominent high school at the age of 12.

Fast forward Omar finished high school started hanging with the wrong crowd face quite a lot of ups and downs which he stated was a life's lesson for him to make a change and that is when he went and got himself a job as a houseman in the hospitality industry.

From there Omar fell in love with not just work but being able to provide quality service to others and putting a smile on someone's face meant a lot to him and as years go by he then transition over into the Food and Beverage department, learning from the best of the best in the world. He said people that have 5 diamond ratings under their belt with knowledge and years of experience. Omar was inspired by those successful trainers that share their expertise with him and for that he says that he is super grateful.

Omar says that he sees himself growing and then he got an opportunity to work in United States of America as a food runner for a well established company in the hospitality industry and as time goes by he's getting a bit closer to achieve his goals then the recession struck and everyone on work visa got sent back home to their home country.

Omar said few months after being back home he started thinking of what business he could start with the income that he earned and saved while working in the States; A brand new idea launched in his mind well he said that's what he taught as he laughed and mocked himself so he started a Sports Bar and Grill with a Car Wash then after 3 years he said the landlord became envy of him and wanted do something with the property and with no other choice's plus no other available property to re-locate the business so, he shuts it down and move on.

Few weeks after Omar said that; "well guess I'll get back on the drawing board" he then laughed at himself and sat down asking himself "what is it the he can do to make a difference in someone's life?" And he said shortly he got a hunch that he could do farming because it's so peaceful and it helps people to connect with nature as he quoted. Omar said that he decided to get in the poultry farming selling eggs to supermarkets and everything was a success.


But unfortunately the pandemic wiped out his entire farming business overnight, he said it was a nightmare for him and his family. Months pass by and all the savings he have had used paying bills and food for his wife and 2 beautiful children, he said things started heading for the worse and there's no one that he could rely on plus he mentioned that he has no skill, Omar mentioned that he ended up in debts and behind on some of his payments, lost 2 cars a bus, sell most of the materials to expand his house, relationship got shaky and unstable.

Omar said he was so disappointed in himself knowing that he couldn't provide as much as he wanted for his family; In other words he said he felt less than a man a REAL man and not just a real man but a husband, father, friend, and partner he stated that's how he should be; such as having success doing what he loves to do. He mentioned that just looking at his children really motivates and inspired him to push and never give up. He wanted to do something that he could stay home with his family and can earned an income at the same time plus he's getting up in age and wanted to be able to do things on his own terms without thinking of having to get a 9-5.

And that's what pointed him in the direction to search online for something new and refreshing to supplement his income then he came across Digital Marketing, specifically Affiliate Marketing watching months of YouTube videos, Webinars, and a bunch of other stuffs because everything seems to simple and he was so excited when he got started he said he was struggling and felt lost. The information and hours of pre-recorded videos were so overwhelming, he ask for help several times in the group but no one provide him the aid he was looking for he said he thought he would get support but..."Guess I was dreaming lol!" He quoted.

He tried several programs but none worked for him...he shared how he has been through the mud, the gutter, ground zero, 0$ in his bank accounts, many trials and failures, lots of sleepless nights and the worse case scenario, he was about to lose his relationship he said...because of being stupid, wasting thousands of dollars, still spinning in circles It became very frustrating for him because all he's getting in his face (inbox) are up sells, and he said to himself that he will figure things out eventually.

And after months of struggling, having sleepless nights trying to figure out affiliate marketing on his own, he said finally he was introduced to a self made multi-millionaire who's featured in Forbes Magazine 6 times already by a colleague of his.
