Cory has never been a person that feared change or making mistakes as he was presented with the opportunity to move to UK by his wife, so he was willing to try something different in a new land.

However with those changes came new challenges as Lola was the sole income earner while Cory waited for his work papers to clear so he could legally work in the UK. After a just few months, Cory was permitted to work in the country.

That's when the pressure mounted on the Pugh household, because now their two children were in school and both parents were at work. There was no one to commit fully to drop off and pick up the kids from school or take them to their after school activities.

Lola began looking into other ways to bring in income like different programs and ultimately decided to walk away from her job. This meant Cory had to solely support their family. This was not for long as the covid hit the world and Cory's contract had ended during the lockdown in the UK. there were several failed attempts at getting other roles.

So it was even more imperative that Cory found something else to continue the lifestyle that they were accustomed to.
